County Nursing Team Member wins At the Care focus

 Somerset Social Care Awards!

Congratulations to our own Bernie Farr, who was recently nominated by one of our clients and our management team as an ‘Outstanding Care and Support Worker’

Bernie Farr – HCA was amongst over three hundred initial nominees and then reached the shortlist of 18 care workers – six of whom would be named as the most outstanding as decided by the Care Focus team of expert judges at a gala reception at Taunton School last Saturday night.

Our Directors, Kevin & Jane were joined by Bernie and her guest Helen at the reception on Saturday, to celebrate the recognition and were then thrilled when Bernie was named as one of the top six. Bernie received an engraved glass trophy a bouquet of flowers (and a kiss!) from Chris Vacher of BBC Points West.

Bernie wanted everyone to know that she was happy to accept the award as a

representative of the whole of the County Nursing team, so that means a big thank

you to everyone!
